As the previous editor at Computerworld Hong Kong, CIO Asia and PCWeek Asia, he followed, edited and wrote how the Internet and the rise of the digital economy impacted businesses across various industries. Most recently, Winston served as N. Asia editor of CMOInnovation. As the Editor-in-Chief of CDOTrends.com, he is bringing together intriguing articles, insights from leading thinkers, in-depth lessons from practitioners, and various thought leadership materials to develop a new resource for CDOs and other digital practitioners. Besides his communication skills, he is well-versed in building conference and marketing programmes externally and internally. Fleming joined Barracuda in 2004 as the founding engineer for the company’s web security product offerings, helping to create the first version of Barracuda’s message archiving product and paving the way for expansion into new content security product areas. That desire to innovate continues to drive him, and he now has more than 20 patents granted or pending in network and content security.

As SVP of Technology, Fleming leads the company’s cloud-enabled microservices technology innovation and integrations across the entire security and data protection portfolio. A computer science graduate of the University of California in San Diego, Fleming fulfilled engineering roles with a range of IT companies before joining the team at Barracuda. Fleming believes that in order to stay relevant, technology must continue to advance, a sentiment best summed up by his golfing hero Ben Hogan who stated: “The most important shot is the next one.”

Did you know? Fleming’s first computer was a commodore VIC-20 with 20KB ROM and 5KB RAM. Fleming also built his own PC  in 1989 with used parts including a 80286 with 10MB MFM HDD.

Jianshu is Head of SecureAI Lab at AI Singapore where he leads a team to develop processes and tools to make machine learning more robust against potential attacks.

As a national initiative, AISG brings together the strength of AI research bodies in Singapore’s Autonomous Universities and research institutes, together with the vibrant ecosystem of AI start-ups and companies developing AI products, to perform use-inspired research, create innovative AI solutions, and develop the talent to power Singapore’s AI efforts.

Jianshu has many years of AI/Data Science research and consulting experience. In recent years, he has spent most of his time in putting AI/ML into real-world usage and promoting ethical aspects of AI/ML, e.g. explainability, fairness, robustness, and privacy-preserving AI/ML models. Before joining AISG, he was the Head of Insights and Modelling of a leading global reinsurer where he led his team to deliver a number of significant data science projects for their key clients in the Asia Pacific region..

Jianshu obtained his Ph.D in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2008.

Paul has over twenty years of experience in Cyber and Tech Risk consulting across Europe, US and Asia.  He has been with KPMG since 2010 and has worked in the Singapore, Silicon Valley, Houston and London offices.  He focuses on the FS and Tech sector and leads KPMG’s cyber strategy & governance and emerging tech security services (including cloud, blockchain and AI). Recently, he was a mentor at the Monetary Authority of Singapore Global Fintech Hackcelerator competition and a judge at the Association of Information Security Professionals Cyber Awards. Paul holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics / Information Security from the University of London and he is Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and a Chartered Fellow of the British Computer Society.
