Kuntha Chelvanathan

Kuntha has over 22 years of industry and consulting experience. She started her career in the Telecom industry with Telstra in Australia, and was a manager in the global headquarters of Alcatel in France where she developed long-term global supply chain strategy, implemented developed strategies worldwide, and delivered sustained cost savings. She then moved to strategy consulting and supply chain and operations consulting. She has worked in Europe for close to 10 years and across Asia Pacific for over 12 years, having been based in Paris, London, Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne and now Singapore. 

Before becoming the APAC Supply Chain and Procurement Transformation Leader at IBM, she was the Global Leader for Procurement Capability at EY.

Kuntha has focused on the design and delivery of large multi-year business transformations. Amongst numerous projects, Kuntha led a transformation working with one of ASEAN's largest integrated engineering companies in the design and development of the new operating model including strategy, organization, governance, process, technology and shared service elements and assisted them in delivering cost savings of over USD90M over a 3 year period. Other projects Kuntha has ed includes the creation of a procurement hub for a major Asian telecom company with targeted savings of USD150 million savings over three years, which delivered over USD50million in savings in its first operational year. Another client of hers is a major Asian airline where she performed a current state analysis of 100% of spend to develop a business case for benefits realization of USD200 million. Kuntha was also the program director for one of the Australian State Government's Strategic Sourcing and Corporate Shared Services Review. The project reviewed 20 departments and over USD11 billion in external spending to identify USD1 billion in cost reduction opportunities in the finance, construction, healthcare, education and other government sectors. Kuntha Recently she has been designing and building AI led end to end supply chain control towers, in response particularly to the supply and demand disruptions of the last few years.

Her expertise includes supply chain and procurement strategy, operating model and organizational design, business case development and delivery of savings, delivery of strategic sourcing savings, end-to-end supply chain and procurement solution design and implementation using niche cloud based systems, AI and advanced analytics to drive efficiency and sustainability.

Kuntha has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sydney, Australia. She is in the process of undertaking a leadership course at Harvard Business School.

Rajesh Mohan

Rajesh Mohan has more than 20+ years of experience of Supply Chain and Manufacturing  experience across multiple industries such as Telekom, Consumer and Energy resources companies. 10 years of which is spent in South East Asia and mainly with Manufacturing and Supply Chain companies  like Sinarmas, Suntory, ASM, Indo Food, San Miguel and Astra etc.,..

For the past 15+ years, Rajesh has been helping many customers in the APJ region, to derive business value from SAP’s Supply Chain software solutions. He currently works as a Supply Chain Business Development lead in the area of Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics areas, being part of SAP’s APJ DSC Center of Excellence.

Schalk de Klerk

Schalk works for o9 Solutions as Vice President, Industry Solutions for SEA & ANZ and he is based in Singapore. Hi focus is on establishing o9 Solutions within the region and helping o9’s clients to solve industry specific challenges arising from the volatile supply chain landscape of recent times, using the latest digital operating model technologies, while assuring value realization during technology adoption.

In the early part of his career, he worked as a senior supply chain management consultant in South Africa, supporting clients in industries as diverse as construction, pharmaceutical, CPG, aerospace, apparel, electronic component, and chemical manufacturing. He has implemented demand driven replenishment and planning synchronization models in more than fifty discrete manufacturing and distribution sites. After moving to Singapore, he worked for BHP for 7 years - managing a global IT project portfolio valued at more than USD200M annually, in the capacity of a senior project portfolio and planning manager – with a special emphasis on SAP deployments.

Prior to joining o9, he worked as a principal in the business value & strategy practice of Anaplan, focusing on driving supply chain transformations in the APAC region. His clients in the region included leading automotive, CPG, retail, chemical manufacturing, quick service restaurant and mining & metals multinationals.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in technology management from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He is a certified Theory of Constraints practitioner in both project and supply chain management.
