Akhil is responsible for the strategic digital direction of Bank of Baroda as a Member of the Corporate Leadership Team at Bank of Baroda. BOB is the 2nd largest bank of India with over 160mn customers and 114 years of rich heritage. As the Chief Digital Officer, Akhil is responsible for digital transformation across the lines of businesses of the bank and ownership of the P&L- which is spread across the length and breadth of the country and has presence in 20 countries internationally.

He oversees the digital payments business, digital assets business, digital platforms (Retail, SME, Agri), digital product engineering, digital channels (Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Tablet Banking, WhatsApp Banking) ATMs/CRs, Fintech Partnerships, Startup Banking, BOB Innovation Centre.

Akhil is a well recognised digital influencer and is recognised amongst the top digital business leaders in India.

He is a published author, writing many thought pieces and also co-authoring a book - Transformational Leadership in Banking: Challenges of Governance, Leadership and HR in a Digital and Disruptive World.

Milind Nagnur is President & Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Kotak Mahindra Bank and is responsible for technology strategy, enhancing digital capabilities and harnessing new age AI/ML technology solutions for all areas of the bank.

Prior to joining Kotak in August 2022, Milind was with Early Warning - a Fintech company owned by seven of the leading banks in the United States. Early Warning is best known as the owner and operator of the Zelle Network - a financial services network focused on transforming payment experiences. As CTO at Early Warning, Milind oversaw the teams responsible for the technology and engineering of solutions that empower financial institutions of all sizes to make confident decisions, enable fast payments, and mitigate fraud.

Milind brings with him more than 20 years of global experience in technology leadership roles predominantly in the banking and Fintech space. He has an extensive background in highly regulated financial industries and managing large scale portfolios of critical transaction processing platforms, applications, data, and infrastructure services. Milind specializes in reimagining and fortifying core platforms and processes while building strategic innovative capabilities to fuel growth.

Prior to joining Early Warning in 2020, Milind served as EVP & Chief Information Officer for Innovation & Strategic Services at Wells Fargo Bank and in his earlier stints Milind was responsible for Citigroup’s global data, advanced analytics and regulatory services technology, and payments technology at JPMorgan Chase.

Milind has a Bachelor of Technology Degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay and an MBA in Computer Information Systems and Finance from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta. He has co-authored a book on Java2 Network Security published by Prentice Hall.
