Everyone talks up China’s ecommerce market size. But how big is big?
USD 1.8 trillion by 2022, says Forrester. The research firm already sees China’s online retail sales accounting for 83 percent of the entire Asia Pacific region in 2018 with only 38 percent of country’s population shopping online.
China's dominance will continue to solidify in the next four years as more people go online to shop. By 2022, China’s online retail will be 10 times larger than Japan’s, 15 times bigger than South Korea’s and more than double the size of the US market.
