Data science and analytics firm Alteryx has unveiled its analytic process automation (APA) platform that it says unifies analytics, data science, and business process automation as part of a seamless, end-to-end platform.

The Alteryx APA Platform is designed to put automation in the hands of data workers, from data scientists, skilled analysts to line-of-business users, allowing businesses to leverage their data assets more broadly than ever before. Alteryx says this will culminate in greater workforce efficiencies, top-line growth and allow businesses to optimize costs.
Alteryx claims that its APA Platform can empower and upskill the market of 54 million data workers identified in an IDC InfoBrief to solve business-critical problems that drive top-line growth, returns and efficiency, as well as address bigger societal challenges.
The system offers over 260 automation building blocks that businesses can use as part of an integrated solution for self-service insights and automated actions. Data scientists (or citizen data scientists) can hence focus on delivering high-impact business outcomes through the code-free platform for their analytics and data science initiatives.
