Qlik this week announced the general availability of Qlik Talend Cloud, an integrated solution designed to enhance data trust and accessibility for enterprise AI adoption.
The new data management platform leverages technology from Qlik’s acquisition of Talend in 2023, delivering AI-augmented data integration capabilities from no-code to pro-code data management to help businesses maintain data integrity and accelerate AI adoption.
Qlik Talend Cloud
Built on the Qlik Cloud infrastructure, Qlik Talend Cloud provides a unified package of data integration and data curation capabilities for building and deploying AI-augmented ELT pipelines that deliver trusted data assets across organizations.
As reported on CRN, Qlik Talend Cloud incorporates the advanced data connectivity capabilities from Talend’s 2018 acquisition of startup Stitch, boosting the platform’s ability to work with diverse range of data sources.
According to Qlik, Qlik Talend Cloud supports connectivity to over 400 SaaS data sources through significant AI enhancement to its connector factory. The platform offers a flexible and scalable environment for generating value from these data sources, and its support for cloud-independent and technology-agnostic deployment reduces technical debt and future-proofs AI adoption.
Together, the unified package capabilities in Qlik Talend Cloud enables data engineers and scientists to deploy AI-augmented data pipelines, reducing risks associated with enterprise AI adoption. A curated data marketplace further simplifies data discovery and data sharing.
AI at Scale
According to Drew Clarke, executive vice president and general manager of Qlik's Data Business Unit, Qlik Talend Cloud is built for enterprises to leverage AI at scale.
“By integrating the latest AI advancements with our trusted data solutions, we help businesses transform raw data into strategic assets. This new solution accelerates this value by reducing the risks associated with enterprise AI adoption,” said Clarke.
"We have long leveraged Qlik to support our data-driven business outcomes," said Amélie Monnoyer, data engineer at Duravit, a manufacturer of high-end bathroom fittings.
"Qlik Talend Cloud represents an exciting leap forward. We are thrilled to explore the potential of this solution, which emphasizes data quality and validity. We believe their focus on data foundations will support responsible and high-impact AI adoption at scale across industries.”
