Onboarding Becomes A Connected Experience for Employees

New solutions are coming onboard to help the HR team onboard faster and more effectively.
Recently, Dell Boomi (Boomi) release the Onboarding Solution Accelerator, which helps companies to quickly add new employees into the organization and effectively support them from Day 1.
According to the press announcement, the new solution connects both systems and people to drive rapid and effective employee onboarding resulting in better experiences and faster time to employee-effective-productivity.
“Silos and manual handoffs in any sort of onboarding process add friction and are expensive for the organization,” said Steve Wood, chief product officer, Boomi.
"The best onboarding experiences thoughtfully combine the right people across the organization with efficient processes through the use of technology, and that's the solution we're enabling with this new release,” he added.
Boomi also supports an organization’s digital transformation journey by offering a unified integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) that includes application and data integration, the master data hub, B2B/EDI management, API design and management, workflow automation and application development.
The Onboarding Solution Accelerator allows companies to bring together processes and workflows from across the organization, connecting both on-premise and cloud applications.
It also creates an automatically maintained data repository that provides a "single version of the truth" for employees and customers. Prebuilt dashboards, workflows, connectivity and data models can be leveraged to automate end-to-end onboarding. These capabilities combined, bring together the onboarding experience for employees into a unified, seamless process that reduces manual effort, streamline collaboration and improve engagement.

Boomi used the Onboarding Solution Accelerator to improve its employee onboarding practices. Since its implementation, Boomi has connected more than 27 different touchpoints to combine the right people across the organization with efficient processes.
